I’m Done Discussing Agents…

…and I’m on to a topic much closer to my heart.

Baseball.

My beloved New York Yankees are going to the playoffs. Again. For the 13th consecutive year. And, I have to admit – to anyone who follows baseball – I’d pretty much given up on my boyz in May, when they were eight games under .500 and 14 1/2 games behind the dreaded Boston Red Sox. My son kept telling me, “There’s always next year,” and I suddenly realized what fans of teams like the Kansas City Royals and Tampa Bay Devil Rays feel like.

But, being the good ‘ol Bronx Bombers, the team rallied from the depths and clinched the wild card with more than 90 wins. A pretty good season, considering where we started. So, it’s off to Cleveland next week. Now we just have to make it out of the first round.
